Catholic Church bares advocacies for new administration - Yahoo! Philippines News: "The Catholic Church has drawn up a list of 13 advocacies that will help guide the new administration of President Benigno Simeon 'Noynoy' Aquino III. The 13-point advocacies that were presented to the media yesterday are

1) Implement land reform through Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program with Extension and Reform or CARPER;
2) No to legalization of the Reproductive Health Bill, same sex union, abortion, divorce, euthanasia and contraceptives;
3) No to demolition without relocation of urban poor families;
4) top human trafficking of children and women;
5) Protect the environment by stopping large scale mining and illegal logging;
6) Stop corruption and prosecute the people involved in graft and corruption;
7) No to Nepotism and political dynasty in Philippine politics;
8) Uphold human rights of all the accused;
9) Educate the poor by improving educational system and give the poor access to quality education;
10) Peace and security: Negotiate with the rebels with public consultations to all stakeholders;
11) Stop illegal gambling by arresting and prosecuting gambling lords;
12) Alleviate poverty by improving the living condition of the marginalized, under-represented and oppressed people; and
13) Food security by eliminating structures that hinder the growth and development of those in the agricultural sector."
